...The Never Ending Project...
I
started this project in 1999 with the intention of finishing it in 1999
as well,
we won't comment on what year it is currently!
The
concept of this design is based on the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa,
Canada.
This is (or rather will be) a 3 dimensional piece consisting of several
hundred pieces
(or so it seems), a working clock tower that will stand approximately
4 feet tall,
windows lit from within, a copper roof and of course, gargoyles.
The Inspiration
The
inspiration for this piece came from a visit to the parliament buildings
and this postacard which I purchased during that visit.

All the pieces have been cut, the
design for the window sandblasting created,
patterns cut, and some pieces are actually even finished!
