ABOUT THE ARTIST

Artists' 2001 Harley Sportster 1200 Custom
Taken at Prairie Motorcycle, Regina, Sk Canada.
Mural painted by Artist Ben Vandecamp.
Artist's 2001 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom

For the most part I would have to say the creativity is a 'Family Thing' I inherited from both my parents.
My father restores antique motorcycles (a few seen below and at "Mohr Restorations"), cars & tractors
and my mother is an amazing seamstress having sewn (among many others items) both my wedding dress (seen
below
and at "With Love From Mom") and my veil (and alllllll the little itty bitty fabric rosebuds in it) and
also my sister's wedding dress, bridesmaids' dresses for both weddings as well as the dresses she herself wore to each
of our weddings; as well as simply being an amazing woman with the talent to do anything she puts her mind to!!
(This includes but is certainly not limited to antique furniture restoration and home repair that would put a
professional to shame...including building the basement suite in her home ENTIRELY on her own..well, with a LITTLE
help from me, I stress the word LITTLE!...and renovating the entire upstairs living area entirely on her own as well!)

Apparently the love of the motorcyle is also a family thing...seen in the picture above is my first Harley
...a 2001 Sportster 1200 Custom purchased from Prairie Motorcyle in Regina, Sk.
Prairie Motorcycle is owned and operated by the Zora family whom I have known my ENTIRE life
and whom I will always consider part of my family. Many of the wedding & Saskatchewan
photos you will see throughout the site(including those seen above)were taken at their family farm just north
of Regina. Jim Zora & my father have been close friends my entire life having met through the local car club they
share many of the same passions including the restoration of antique cars, motorcycles and tractors as well
as the love of farming...and even a little bit of acting!
I grew up with Jim & Joan's two children Dan & Caron and the close friendship continues with their
families today. They are even accredited with providing me with a husband and Dan was the best man
at our wedding, and the entire Zora clan were indeed guests of honour at our wedding and in our lives.
